What is ReMoVES
High quality rehabilitation is essential to regain many if not all capabilities to lead a meaningful, fulfilling and even productive life.
ReMoVES solution provides new opportunities in the field of home rehabilitation and enables new services to be deployed by rehabilitation centers. ReMoVES is expected to decrease the costs for treating diseases common to the elderly and people with motor impairments.
Vision
The main objective of ReMoVES is to allow safe and comfortable physical and cognitive rehabilitation processes both at home and in any health centers.
Mission
ReMoVES platform allows:
- Providing guidance and feedback to patient
- The therapist remote monitoring for progression tracking and inaccurate movement detection ;
- The definition of individual rhehabilitation plan by a multidimensional equipe
- Improve involvement
EXERGAMES
The System
The User Station is dedicated to the patient. An ad-hoc computer installed at patient’s home is capable of running the games focused on their rehabilitation.
The Feedback Station is a web interface on which the therapist can create and modify the rehabilitation plan as well as check the progress and the effectiveness of the treatment through a simple interface.

Ph.D. Science and Technology for Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering
Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and currently Ph.D. student in Science and Technology for Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering. His research topics focus on biomedical signal processing, in particular biomedical imaging and tele-rehabilitation data analysis.
Matteo Morando
Software developer specialist
Ph.D. in Science and Technology for Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering treating the application of technology to the field of rehabilitation. He will take care of the programming and testing part of both technical and commercial sensors.
